Dues

Falling Waters collects dues annually. These dues cover a large variety of services to include but not limited to landscaping, trash and recycle, maintenance and repairs, insurance, professional services, and security services. Falling Waters also has a reserve account dedicated to the lifecycle of our roads and gates.

Budget and Financial

The HOA operating budget includes line items for any income and expense that the association covers. This includes those items listed above and in addition to any other community services such as an attorney, snow removal, streetlights and utilities. The FW HOA Reserve Fund is fully separated from the operational accounting. Budgets are developed annually, the operating year is from January to December.

Meeting Minutes

Meeting minutes are critical to our communication; therefore, notes are taken during executive and community meetings. They highlight the key issues that are discussed, motions proposed or voted on, and activities to be undertaken. The minutes of a meeting are taken by the Board Secretary.

Trash and Recycle

Trash and Recycle are picked up every Tuesday. Cans can be set out on Mondays, unless there is a holiday.

Emergency Preparedness

We want all our community members to be safe. Therefore, we want to provide information to assist our neighbors and friends to know the steps to take to make sure you are safe before, during and after an emergency or natural disaster. These preparedness plans are important for our safety in both natural disasters and man-made disasters. Examples of natural disasters are floods, blizzards, tornadoes and earthquakes. Man-made disasters can include explosions, fires, chemical and biological attacks.

People with disabilities may be especially vulnerable during and after emergencies. In an emergency, many systems you rely on may not function as well as they usually do. Familiar landmarks and usual travel routes you and your service animal know may be altered. Utilities like electricity, water, gas and phone service may be disrupted. You might need to temporarily evacuate to a shelter which may not be fully accessible for your needs. The tips and strategies located at Ready.gov can help you plan to be prepared for many situations.
